Local Swaad exists to bring that taste back.
You can buy achaar in any bazaar. Achaar made the way it's made at home, with care, patience and the right ingredients, is hard to find. The same is true of seasonal food: panjiri, panjiri laddu, til laddu, chatti di lassi. We grew up eating these at home, made by maa's hands, not by machines.
Our only aim is to get that ghar-varga swaad to you. We never rush it. If the process takes time, we give it that time, because what matters is that it tastes like home.
Local Swaad is a platform for exactly that: homemade achaar and seasonal Punjabi food, made in a home kitchen, away from the bazaar, the way it has always been made at home.
